Poor customer experience at Golf Resorts Club

I have had the Golf Resorts membership for about 3 years now. I bought in at approx R 150 000. Since i received a decent bonus this year, I thought I would make a lump sum payment on the "bond amount" at least until March 2023. Now my account should reflect that this is paid in advance. Furthermore, my levy account is also paid up in full for the year. However, it turns out that my payment profile reflects that I have not paid for the last 2 months. All because no one cancelled the debit order.

My question is, surely a company sends data through to the Credit Bureau because accounts are in arrears. How is it possible that I am paid in advance yet my credit profile reflects adversely?

I have tried for 3 days to get a letter of good standing from them and every time I want to speak to a Finance Manager, I get told my query has been escalated.

This type of customer service is ridiculous. I have spent so much time on the call trying to get a simple letter of good standing, which has not been forth coming. Also, I want a letter from them which acknowledges that their system is incorrectly sending information to credit bureaus. Furthermore, I expect them to correct my profile.

But trying to get hold of someone with authority to do this has proven futile. As many other customers have said on this forum, this organization has no grasp on the customer experience and just doesn't care.
