Inconsistency Food Quality-GOldi chicken

To whom it may concern,

On the 03/09/2024, around 2pm-4pm , at Pick n Pay Quali save Parklands Main road, I went shopping, and on my list was Goldi Chicken Livers. I bought 2× 250g tubs. On arrival at home and initially wanting to prep a meal ,on opening the Tubs, only to find inside, green Alien looking items , inside , formed like eggs and pieces laying their,one piece look like some type of old egg it had a stench, foul smell, and I immediately threw up. I was in complete shock and disgusted as we have bought chicken livers and eaten it since kids and at restaurants like Nando's and Spur and we have never seen, came across this ever.This was obviously a packaging of food items gone wrong, like the recent incident of Sasko with a Rodent found inside a bread.

I kept the tubs with the Alien items and furthermore I took a video of it.

We have lost trust in Pick n Pay as this is were we purchased the items from even though it was supp****/packaged by Astral group and Goldi Chicken, all parties are fully responsible!! I could inform the public to make ' better choices in better brands with this.

Now , I will give Pick n pay Quali save, Goldi Chicken, Astral Foods the opportunity to correct this as I know you would want to treat this like an ' isolated incident. If this is a manual process we're the livers are packaged, then it seems like prevention and practices in place are not 100% effective nor fit and proper and inconsistency,and not meeting customers expectations that what we are paying for in full. This should not land up in someone's basket at all and yes onus and liability lies with suppliers , Goldi Chicken Livers and Astral Foods. We added 2 tubs to a full meal for a family of 6 that cost +- R400. So we lost out on groceries to the amount of R400, not just 2 tubs of Goldi Chicken Livers.

I can not attach the video due to the size of it. I have sent the pictures of the tubs, including Barcodes, Best before dates.

I have evidence and videos. I no longer have the till slip, cause who forsees such a horrific and devastating incident. Check your footage and inventory check on sold items on the day, you will find a slip under R1500 that included 2× 250g Goldi Chicken Livers in and around 2pm-4pm.

We expect a refund/voucher for the inconvenience to the total that we had to be inconvenienced by which was R400.
