Disgusting attitude

<p>Used Gustav - calling himself Goldfinger Electrical - to install some lights and do some work for me. Work was good (a few issues to be tidied up) and well priced. He finished at about 5pm on 22 December, having been paid a 60% deposit before starting. At 08.23 on 23 December I received his final invoice for the remaining 40%. At 08.24 I received a call from him wanting to know when he would be paid. I committed to paying him by EFT at 3pm when I got home, which I did. At 7.20pm I got an SMS message from him (the money evidently not having cleared in his account) saying [verbatim following]; 'this is total unacceptable, by tomorrow if payment not done coming to cut the wires to all your lights in your house'. Astonished, I rep**** that I had paid the account, and that I found his approach outrageous, to which he rep**** [verbatim] 'fkc u lair'. I forwarded the proof of payment to him. At 08:20 on 24 December he phoned to announce that he was outside my property to carry out his threat, as despite receving the notification the money was not reflecting in his account, and accused me of fabricating the payment notification. At 9am he quietly left. So, despite the work being decent, the price being good and him arriving when he said he would, this behaviour is nothing short of unhinged, and the public should be aware. </p>
