I met a man who called himself "Hao" and we became friends. He was into investing and cryptocurrency and suggested I too could invest. I'm like, I've never invested in my life. I don't know anything about cryptocurrency either. So I was very sceptical but he reassured me that this was an area he knew well. Hao told me to create an account on a legitimate site, Crypto.com. Then he sent me a link and told me to transfer money to the new link, to what he said was a cryptocurrency exchange platform. I started small but I soon started investing larger amounts. When it was time to withdraw I discovered that the cryptocurrency investments weren't real. All my funds had gone into the *******'s pockets.
