Noisy Night at Manyane Campsite

<p>The Manyane Campsite has been upgraded recently, and I was really impressed with the Cleanliness, and the way in which the Ablutions were nicely tiled and well maintained. I have been going there for close to 20 years, and have tolerated much.</p> <p> </p> <p>However, nothing like the noise I experienced coming from a nightclub several kilometers away.</p> <p> </p> <p>On the Evening of the 30th April 2017, I was camping at Manyane Campsite. From 11pm moste people are trying to sleep. I was also trying to sleep, but couldn't due to a lot of really loud music coming from a Nightclub by the Main 4 Way stop (Caltex Garage - Close to Mogwase) called the Moribo. In fact the music went on until 1:40 am Monday Morning. This left me feeling tired that morning and really irritated.</p> <p> </p> <p>On Monday afternoon I visited the Club on my way home; and no one in the club was prepared to comment or provide any details of the Club Manager or their Telephone number so that I could enquire why it was necessary to be so distrespectful and to disrupt the sleep of hundreds of people ( an entire fully occupied Manyane Campsite).</p> <p> </p> <p>I managed to obtain a name from the Meat Market around the corner and the managers name is Kenneth Masilo. I was told apararently that they have a license to trade on all nights, especially on Sunday Night, and to play loud music beyond 12pm (Midnight) into the morning. I cant believe that this is the case, as most nightclubs usually cut off load music after 12, especially Sunday Night.</p> <p> </p> <p>I find this extremely disturbing as I primary went to the Campsite to "get away" from the hustle and noise and have some peace, and be in the nature for the weekend.</p> <p> </p> <p>I would like a proper answer as to why this behaviour is tolerated on a Sunday Night, early Monday morning, and what the Pilansberg / Golden Leopard Resorts are planning to do about this irrational disrespectul behaviour. Surely this is classified as being a "nuisance", and should not be tolerated. Surely this is going to lead to loss of revenue for the Campsite as people are going to stop going there.</p> <p> </p> <p>What a beautiful campsite ...</p> <p>Such a pity about the noise from the Nightclub!</p> <p> </p> <p>Regards</p> <p> </p> <p>Nicholas</p>
