Manyane Camp Site - nightmare

I recently booked and stayed at the Manyane Camp Site. On arrival I checked in and paid the balance of my booking fee in cash. Only to be told that they didn't have change and was told to pop in and check. No apology.<br> The camp site I selected was the cleanest I could find, but it was strewn with litter and cigarette butts. During my stay I noted that the cleaning staff regularly emptied the dustbins, but no effort at all was made to clean up the mess lying around. The ablutions, whilst clean, were in a terrible state of disrepair, The only toilet cubicle in the closest ablution block had no lock or means to keep the door closed. The shower had a curtain suspended from a piece of wire. The power points at the electrified sites were a hazard and badly in need of repair. At night, less than 20% of the exterior light were functional. Electricity and light fittings were damaged and bare wires exposed within easy reach of children. Drains were blocked and smelly, dirty water flowed around the water points.<br> One group of campers arrived late, set up camp and continued talking loudly around the fire until 02:15. No patrols or any staff did anything about this.<br> Horrific experience!!!!!
