No Service when seated

My husband, 6 yrs old son and I went to have supper at the Golden Dragon Sushi restaurant, based in the Eagle's Landing Centre in the Westrand.

We seated ourselves and proceeded to wait for a waiter or at least someone to attend to our order.

There were three people behind the counter (two men and a lady, 2 men both doing sushi,), think one of the men could have come and taken our order, and they would look at us now and then and none of them came to assist us or even ask if we had been served.

Another lady and boy came in as well and seated themselves too. And they seemed to wait and wait and no one tried to offer their service to them either.

The couple behind us got rice served to them, and when the black lady walked back from them I asked her if she could see if someone can come and take our order or if she can.

So she just proceeded back to the counter spoke to the Chinese lady behind the counter and then went into the back.

Still no one came and took our order nor the lady and the boy.

My son was getting restless and we thus decided to leave and go to the Golden Dragon on Hendrik Potgieter instead.

They were attentive and smiled too.

This was on the 12th of August 2017, the total waiting period, even though we were never served or asked what we want to eat, was 30-40 mins wait.
