Social compact by Gold Reef City TsogoSun is non-existent for learners.

Dear Anybody, I have raised this very same issue about Gold Reef City theme park issue about a month ago. An excursion was organized by our school of 21 learners and educators. I received immediate attention from a Ms Tlhalafang. I interacted with by email. Gold Reef City's communication by telephone was non existent because there was cable theft. Ms Thlafang was never available to attend to my emails neither was the person designated to handle the problem of a discount and entry into the Theme Park by our learners on a Sunday, 24 October 2021. Today is the 21st October 2021 and I just received confirmation from a Grace Mbathie that approval to bring the learners in on Sunday has been rejected when there was legitimate expectation that it would be approved. I was told by Ms Mbathie that because Sunday is fully booked hence our long sought after approval was rejected. My response to her was that this, to our community was a selfish, self centered decision based purely on profit and not keeping to the social compact to poor communities. Initially, I was assured by Ms Mbathie that that I would receive the response as a priority early this morning. I received this response at midday today. Her response to my comments was that she needs to re-engage her superior one more time on the matter.

My take on this matter need not take our chat to and fro when one is criticised of being selfish. Seems I touched a sensitive chord in the business of TsogoSun. It may be that learners are not allowed to enter the Theme Park on a Sunday because of low profit yet they can enter the park at high prices (undiscounted) on Sunday. Is this the ************ manner in which TsogoSun treat the young citizens of a lower social economic standing at South Hills - the poorest of the poor? I am disappointed to say the least regarding this negatively, selfish decision representing TsogoSun via Ms Tlhalafang and Mbathie.
