07 Apr 2023, 07:10I do have 2 pieces of advice to anyone selling gold and diamond jewelry so that you can make a fully informed decision: 1) know the market value of gold before you go (9ct, 14ct etc) and ask about the buying rate on offer and 2) get a value for any diamonds to be purchased BEFORE any money is transferred for the gold in your ring/s and before any rings are pulled apart. Something to keep in mind is that your diamond ring/s may be worth more intact and sold as they are on a different market rather than deconstructed and sold as gold/diamonds.
