Gold Buffalo Hotel Cape Town - horrible

It is falsely advertised and they are not responding to my calls or emails at all. They are not refunding me and they messed up our whole weekend. The building is under construction. It is unsafe. I messaged them prior to arrival asking about early checkin and payed an Additional 200 for that but the room was not available. There is not even parking. The building is falling apart and dirty. It is terrible see email under: I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment regarding our recent stay at your establishment. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of the expectations set by your advertising.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were shocked to find ongoing construction, making the environment unsuitable and dirty. Furthermore, the room we had pre-booked was not available, contrary to what we were assured beforehand. The disparity between the advertised amenities and the actual state of the hotel was disconcerting.

The unprofessionalism exhibited by the lady at the front desk compounded our frustration. Her lack of courtesy only added to the overall unpleasantness of our stay. Moreover, we felt that the safety of the premises was compromised, creating a dangerous situation.

Given the circumstances, I kindly request a full refund for our reservation. The issues we encountered not only disrupted our plans but also resulted in additional expenses due to having to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. Which cost us missing the event. We wasted a futher R2000 because we could attend. Our weekend was significantly affected, and we believe a refund is not even a fair enough resolution to compensate for the inconveniences we experienced.
