Godlyn Rentals are Bad News!

I had a 6 month contract with Godlyn Rentals, on the 4th month I gave them 2 months notice that I will not reapply for a new contract.

I asked them the day I moved to come do the inspection, two of them said they can't make it. I was moving out of the city so I couldn't come back. When the inspector arrived after few days the landlord signed off and said I left everything in good condition.

The landlord was very unhappy with their services and warned me about them. He canceled their services and planned to manage his own tenants. The landlord inspected the place with me and was very happy with the place. No damages and I payed all my rent ahead of time.

It has been a month and I have not gotten my deposit of R4300. I read on hello Peter that they have bad reputation and take long to repay people's deposits. Sometimes not even pay the people's deposits. I have followed and done everything they said.

I recently got a email stating I owe them rent but I am not staying there. It seems like they have not updated their system.

I feel like they are playing mind games. Very *********.
