Impossible to stop debit order after membership is over

Do NOT sign a debit order for this gym ! It is literally impossible to cancel the debit order after your membership is over I have called twice , emailed and contacted Alex who signed me up and he even emailed them to cancel my debit order . Nothing has worked they just keep debiting my account!! This has been going on for months now
