<p>The company that calls themselves GM Lethal Manufacturers (GMLM) claim to be the manufacturers of a solar geyser with the so called name: Y2K Solar Geyser 150l 20201. They are working hand in hand with another group who claim to be the Department of Health procurement department in Pretoria. I received an RFQ from this so called Dept of Health (DoH) requesting a quote for 80 of the above geysers. When I did an online search for the item, I found GMLM as the manufacturer. They sent me a quote which was very cheap, and I somehow did not question why it was so cheap, being an electrical engineer myself. I submitted the quote to the so called DoH, and about 2 weeks later get a call that my quote was accepted. I proceed to put together the purchase order and arrangements with GMLM for delivery, and before making payment the next morning, I decided at night to do some more background checks. Firstly checking their address on Google Street View, there is no such company there. Then I searched their company name again and looked at other search results, only to find that another Hello Peter subscriber was ****med exactly the same way, and a warning on the DTI website about the people posing as DoH Procurement Department. I then immediately called FNB ***** to report it as their account is with FNB. I plan to confront them via telephone in the morning.</p>
