Sold me a car that wasn't serviced and almost finished Brake pads and disks
I bought a car ( Renault Sandero Dynamique 2016 model)at GM Imperial Vereeniging on the 30th of Jan 2018. They told me the car has a full service history when we saw the service book, the last service was on 45000km and I bought the car on 70280km meaning the 60000km service was missed. I then had to take the car in for a service at Renault Bryanston which I had to pay in R3200 for the service. ( the dealership did refund me the money). Renault Bryanston then called me to let me know that the brakes / disks were on 2mm and they needed to be urgently replaced. The car was in my position for 7days... Renault told me about an additional R4617 I needed to pay in for them to be replaced. I then sent an email to the car sales rep he told me about some dealerships like milking people for their money and so forth. I don't get why was that my problem because the car supposed to be sold to me in an almost perfect condition. Now a guy named Jackson rep**** to my email and said they will not be paying for the brakes and disks as the car passed the AA test that's confusing for me as hows that my problem? Renault found the brakes needed to be replaced it is risky for me to continue driving the car because it is uncomfortable for me. Are they trying to **** me? Is this how they treat every customer they have who has problems with cars they bought from them? I bought the car from a reputable dealership,is this how they conduct business? Did they take advantage of the fact that I came with only my mother to get the car? Because it was just us women? Who's going to replace the brakes and disks? Its false advertising actually
I need this matter taken up with them. I am not satisfied with their service. At all. I still don't have ownership papers from them till to this day... it's still in the previous owners details.
Thanks and Regards
