KIA Kempton giving me stories

<p>So I recently went about buying a vehicle for myself, I came across a nice little 2011 Cross Polo from Kia Kempton Park. I test drove the vehicle and asked about a hard clutch, I was told no that is ho a diesel car is. Trusting the judgment of the salesman I warrant that to be correct, I have never owned or driven a diesel before. We drove the car for two weeks and started hearing a funny noise from the engine, we though it might have been something normal but after sometime the noise got worse.</p> <p>The consumption on the car is heavy and how ironic is that because we bought it as a fuel saver. So we had a bit of a incident on the 11/7 where we were ****** of our cellphones and during the incident there was some damaged caused to the vehicle door. I was going to report the issue the following day which I did in any case. I spoke to dealer manager Kyle who said he will assist, he instructed me to go to VW so they can just have a listen. When I got to VW they did a quick check and advised the veh should not be driven. We drove the vehicle home and Kyle said we should come and drop it off with him to have it checked out. We did just that and they kindly gave us a loan veh. Kyle insisted we were just being overboard and the noise wasn't to serious.</p> <p>The 19th of July my wife took off so she can drop the car and pick up the loan. When I was at VW they said that if would be checked out in that week. However the week passed and I had to call VW myself to see what was happening with my car, then everything went south. VW advised the flywheel and clutch have to be replaced to fix the noise, I spoke to a numerous amount of people there. Even the dealer principle by the name of Ashley said he would not declare the veh to be fine when clearly it was not.</p> <p>Kyle said I should just pick up the veh, when I said I wasn't happy and didn't want the veh. He quickly advised that this be settled legally. I said I shall most definitely do so because this is just plain negligence from Imperial KIA. I was quoted R21000 and the suggestion came across that I would need to pay for this where I surely disagree and refused to be done in by a dealer.</p>
