POLLUTION ALBERTON

No Stars actually, minus 20 stars. WITHOUT PREJUDICE/ALLEGED MISCONDUCT Gloss Recycling in Alrode, Alberton have been operating without proper filtration systems for years. The smell started roughly in 2009 and has continued on until today without a full and thorough investigation. All members in authority, media, govt, health and safety, Afriforum, public etc, have been added to a group on email to get someones attention so they can be shut down. All they did was manage to issue them an abatement notice, which didn't last long. Their website leaves a lot to be desired. To reach them by phone is impossible. To get them to stop polluting our air, is asking for miracles. Nobody is willing to get their hands dirty. These people at Gloss operate under the cover of darkness, rainy nights, public holidays and weekends to avoid detection. They need to own up or shutdown. I have emails dating back to 2011 to prove that they have not been acting lawfully. Ekurhuleni are under resourced but have tried to assist. 1 member of the public have actually gone there at night only to be threatened by security. I have eye witnesses, video footage and photographic evidence. The person providing such evidence is to remain anonymous until such time as Gloss own up.
