Sherking their responsibility for their short comings. behind Clause 19

My daughter made a booking by email to Globeflight JHB for a parcel to be collected in KZN and delivered to Randburg. Some one phoned in after hours to the Durban branch with the waybill no and changed all the recipients details. Durban branch never did any security checks, they just did the changes except to the online tracking system. Hence when we were tracking the parcel we were none the wiser until it said delivered and it was not delivered to the address on the tracking system. Furthermore the driver in JHB contacted Globeflight and advised that he had previously delivered a parcel to the new address given by phone and they had a problem. He was told to just deliver the parcel. We gave them the CCTV footage when the parcel was collected but we can not get any footage from them while the parcel was in their hands. What are they hiding. I want to see my parcel still in its original packaging from when it arrived at globeflight Durban till it left Durban.

Power took the call at the Durban Branch and did all the changes. Elsie & Lucia from JHB Branch were helpful to a point Dave Adams from Durban Branch was very helpful Stevan Saffy - Regional Executive said legal would get back to us Eddie Meyer - CEO kept say he would get back to us. Kyle Blackbeard - Legal Advisor 2 weeks later and many calls and e-mails we received a letter from legal quoting Clause 19 "Indemnification" They also stated that we were the only ones with the waybill no...... NO WAY Max the driver who collected the parcel had it, the Durban depo had it to log it onto the system, the packing staff in the warehouse had it, Once they logged it onto there system, who knows how many people had access to the waybill no. They also stated that the caller knew what was in the parcel. How could globeflight confirm that info as we did not state it on the waybill or when we made the booking online. This all smells like an inside job when you look at all the evidence and paper work we have received.
