I was approached by Mark of the above company to join at the opening of The Rivonia Rooftop Market run from the 2-4 November. I booked for the 4th November, and when I arrived there, there was no one there. I set up, and an hour later a black gentlemen arrived and set up his ice-cream stall next to us. We were the only TWO vendors, where he had said he had 250 vendors. He explained they had had issues the previous 2 days so vendors had pulled out. He promised me a refund. I also wrote up a lengthy business plan to assist him. I then received an e-mail on the 14th November wherein I was promised a refund. I whatsapped him a week ago for a refund and he seemed surprised I hadn't received it and said he would look into it. I told him if not received today, I would be taking it to Hellopeter.com as well as to the Gauteng Stall Holders group on FB, and taking it legal. No response and no refund. I think that Global-PA should not be allowed to run events as they are dishonourable and they did not stick to their end of the bargain. If there is anyone who has had a similar experience please let me know, as wish to take this to the small claims court shortly.
