******* - GLOBAL WELLNESS ENTERPRISES (GWE) – Paid in full / substantial payments made. Equipment not delivered.

GWE markets itself as a supplier of first-world, first-class wellness equipment and professional service. We re**** on these representations when placing our orders and making substantial payments. Our experience has been completely unacceptable.

On 8 October 2025, we paid R490 316.84 in full for an order including an Infrared Body Dome, Pelvic Plate Rejuvenation Therapy System and an LED Therapy Bed. The Body Dome and Pelvic Plate were delivered, but the LED Therapy Bed, which was agreed to be delivered to Herm**** during February 2026, was never delivered. On 31 October 2025, we placed a further order with GWE for a 2 ATA Double Seater Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Room, valued at R828 000.

We paid a total of R600 000 towards the Hyperbaric Room: R200 000 – 31 October 2025 / R200 000 – 27 November 2025 / R200 000 – 5 February 2026

The remaining R228 000 was only payable upon confirmation of manufacture and delivery. The Hyperbaric Room was never delivered.

After repeatedly following up, we were initially told that the Chinese supplier was unavailable due to annual holidays and that feedback would be provided after 3 March 2026. No meaningful confirmation of manufacture, dispatch or a firm delivery date followed.

On 8 April 2026, we requested either urgent delivery or reimbur*****t of the money already paid. Reimbur*****t was refused, and we were told that legal action would be taken if we persisted with our demand for repayment. We again formally requested delivery or reimbur*****t on 14 April 2026. We were still told that confirmation of dispatch and transit timelines had not been received.

No firm delivery date was provided. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to resolve the matter directly, our attorneys, Adams & Adams, issued formal Letters of Demand on 6 May 2026. Despite this, we remained without the outstanding equipment, without a satisfactory resolution and without definitive proof of manufacture or shipment.

THIS IS NOT A SIMPLE DELIVERY DELAY: We ordered, paid, followed up, waited, requested answers, requested delivery, requested reimbur*****t, instructed attorneys and we are still without equipment for which substantial payment was made.

As part of our investigation, we obtained CIPC records relating to companies associated with the individuals involved. The CIPC records confirm that multiple companies associated with Marnitz Marais and Sonja Marx are deregistered, including:

Lush Supplies – K*** Kingtech – K*** National Solar Sales and Distribution – K*** Natural Health Resources – K*** Jofran Projects – K*** T & M Wellness International – K201****821 Moot Beauty & Wellness – K*** K*** K*** K*** K*** Signox Trading – K***

The CIPC records further show Global Wellness Enterprises JHB (K***) and Global Wellness Enterprises (K***) as being in Voluntary Liquidation.

At the same time, our CIPC investigation identifies other companies reflected as “In Business” with overlapping directors such as Catherene Roberson& Berno Goosen, including Khuphula Enterprises, Dermalux, Xomatix, Marson and Co, Global Hyperbarics and Visbody SA.

From information that I have gathered from publicly available social-media pages, I understand that Mr Marais’ wife, Janneke Marais, is associated with a business known as Bohemian Wellness. Based on the information available to me, I have reason to question whether funds received from customers, including myself, despite knowing, or having reason to know, that they would not be able to deliver the goods as agreed, may have been utilised for purposes other than the fulfilment of the orders for which payment was made.

We have also referred the appropriate aspects of the matter to the relevant authorities for investigation and reserve all our legal rights. After almost a year of promises, delays and unanswered questions, we require an actual resolution – not another promise.
