This Debt Collector is now a Bad Debt!

Danie Olivier and Dean from Global Management visited our offices in Cape Town and offered to recover a bad debt of R50,000 in return for an upfront payment of R15,000 which they claimed would be reimbursed by the debtor in addition to the principle debt.<br> Danie and Dean come across as very professional and they knew all the particulars about our debtor, his address, names of the directors, amount of debt and their business operation.<br> Despite repeated calls to their JHB offices on 4 Dec (Rina) and again on 17 December, they have never responded and I have not seen my debt recovered.Their contract states that if they do not recover the debt within 3 months, that they will \refund\" my R15,000. <br> So, as a small start up business we have lost R50k plus an additional R15k to Global Management! <br> These guys need to be stopped. We also need to establish how they get the detailed information about our clients and their debt- they must be colluding with lawyers or debt collectors in other fields..<br> "
