Deep disappointment in the service of Global Estate Platinum

We recently bought a house, that was advertised as "well-maintained" through Global Estate Platinum and since it was the first time we were buying a house, we didn't know about everything to look out for. First of all, the one agent left for New Zealand after quickly showing us the house once, without letting us know that he was on his way to New Zealand. We then contacted another agent (the owner of the company) and he then took over. He acknowledged that he only visited the house once, meaning that he didn't know about the very bad condition the house was in. He also told us that it is not the job of an estate agent to inspect the house in terms of everything that might not be in order. However, apparently estate agents are supposed to let owners of houses complete a check list of everything that is not right in their home and the owner must sign this form. We were never given such a check list of what is working and up to standard and what is not. Why were we never given a checklist of the real condition the house is in? Firstly, the roof is leaking and there are more that 10 buckets and ice cream tubs in the roof. Secondly, 12 windows were broken, of which the previous owner only pointed out two windows. Two toilets were leaking. Currently water keeps leaking through the tiles in the flat, indicating that there might be a burst pipe. (These are just a few of the problems we are experincing at the moment.) On the website of Global Estates Platinum they indicate that honesty, integrity and open comminication are part of their values. None of this came to the fore anywhere through the process of buying the house. I am really upset and disappointed with the quality of service we received from Global Estate Platinum. If other estate agents actually provide checklists of houses with things that are not up to standard that must be completed by the owner, why didn't we get any checklist whatsoever from these people? They were just so excited about getting the house sold and getting a huge commission that they truly didn't care about us as buyers. They just did what the seller expected from them (the owner of Global Estate Platinum own words) without any concern for us as buyers. Advertising a house in this condition as " well-maintained" is, in my opinion, false advertising.
