Mediocre service. Poor service. Minor repairs take forever. Not worth it.

They treat clients accordingly to the amount quoted. If your quote is below R25k prepare yourself for mediocrity and allow a minimum of 5 weeks for minor repairs (this includes ordering of parts). I got a quotation to replace my front bumper from global autobody, which was ok. I accepted the quote and asked them to provide me a courtesy car for the duration of the repairs. They refused on the basis that my quote is below R25k. I proceeded to make the deposit and asked them to phone me when the parts arrive so that I can bring the car. They failed to do so and I had to follow up on the issue after waiting nearly 2 weeks and no word from them. I called in to check and I was told the parts arrived days ago but no one communicated with me. I specifically asked Karien for an estimation of the repair duration as I was going to privately hire a car for the duration of the repairs. And I needed the car back for a trip I has scheduled. She said -+4 days as all the parts were available at this time. . For this reason I hired a car for 5 days. 4 days later I called in to find out the progress of the car and they told me the car is in line for painting and will most likely be ready in a week or so. Meaning they need -+2 weeks to replace a front bumper. Only the bumper, nothing else. I had to extend my car hire duration and cancel a very important trip

I would never recommend global autobody especially for minor repairs. I suppose they offer great service to people whose cars require major repairs and are paying more.
