Dim Lighting

I am shopping for light fittings for a new home. I located two fittings on the the Glo Lighting website. As engineer I wanted to inspect the fittings before deciding whether I want to buy. Fortunately I called before visiting Glo Lighting's SHOWROOM in Parkhurst. They had neither of the fittings on show or in stock. Showroom? I had to make trips to the importers of the fittings to view them. (Refer to my review of K.Light). I do not understand why I have to pay Glo Lighting a mark-up if they have not done anything to sell the product to me. They know nothing about lighting. They only move boxes. I had problems dealing with them in the past. When they asked whether they could substitute the 15W lamps, which I ordered, with much less powerful lamps. All because they, again, did not have stock of what I ordered. They obviously do not know their lumens from their watts! Pathetic. Why don't they show on their website that they do not have the products in stock.
