Not so Glamorous

My Email:-

Dear Karen,

The trailing emails and invoice INV1100 refers.

I’d like to return your dress recently delivered and would therefore also require a refund of such.

Upon delivery, I found that the “**** tube” is loose/worn out and short. The overlay is visibly skew and frayed and about 1.74m long, longer than the dress (I’m 1.76 m tall). The bands over the shoulder is too short, I can barely tie it around my waste with a proper bow and the dress is also visibly frayed and cut skew of which is also clearly visible.

I commented on your Facebook Page which subsequently got me blocked/removed. Luckily I kept a screenshot of my post and also received a few concerning messages from other clients/potential clients.

I would like to draw your attention to the Consumer Protection Act in respect of returned goods, kindly note the document attached which reads as follows:-

“Goods found to be unsuitable for a particular purpose communicated to the supplier when entering into the transaction, may also be returned at the risk and expense of the supplier within 10 business days of delivery”

As per the above, I’d like to advise that I’m unable to wear this dress now for the purpose it was intended for.

I’ve met with a professional seamstress in Durban who inspected your product and concurred with my findings, this seamstress further advised that she is unable to correct and / or do any alterations to this dress to do any corrections.

I liaised with a legal adviser who suggested that I return the dress and request a refund, hence this correspondence.

I trust that this email will enjoy your urgent attention and look forward to your response herein and truly hope that we can resolve this matter in an amicable manner.
