KUDUS TO GLENWOOD PREP

Glenwood Prep School had their gala for grades 1 - 3 on Monday 20 November. It was wonderful. While I was watching I thought of a Durban North mother who had written in a magazine that she had attended her sons school prize giving and just wished schools would start to consider, as well, the children that will never be the first in class but are just as important, especially as all these little ones have to work hard, try so hard; and then at prize giving receive nothing to make them feel proud of their efforts during the year. I thought of this because this gala was entirely different to the usual galas. It consisted of only relays; so every single had a chance to swim not just once but a couple of times, they didn't just focus on the good swimmers. It was so wonderful to watch and you didn't see parents leaving after the first or so race as their child had swam and wouldn't be swimming again. WELL DONE GLENWOOD PREP.
