Pathetic service

We rented a house through Gleniqua Properties, on Saturday we vacated the premises to move into our new house. Inspection done, owners happy and agent happy. We are promised refund will be processed on Monday but it will take 2 to 3 days, no problem, money should be in our account Wednesday. On THURSDAY I get a ******* excuse that the agent tried to get hold of the owners and only managed to get hold of them this morning (4 working days later and 1 day after money should have been paid) and they now insist on having a septic tank emptied. Had I known about this on Saturday I would have been happy, but to hear about it a day AFTER refund should have been in our ban**** Then the agent has the audacity to tell me that empty the tank and we'll refund, that's it. Either I do it or they with hold deposit! This after the agent did absolutely NOTHING in the time we lived in the house, they just collected their commission for nothing, I had to move into a house where the stove, alarm system and even living room light was removed before we moved in - in fact the alarm was removed AFTER we moved in without even getting permission from us to enter the house. Most useless real estate agency I have EVER come across, I have NEVER had such a bad experience with any agency before. Shows you, stick to the Pam Goldings, Seeff's and big guys, the fly by nighters will rob you blind and try to keep your money.
