Expired meat

On the 23th of June 2021 I bought uncooked marinated chicken, I got home and I cooked while am cooking I can smell that there is a funny smell, so after am done cooking I tasted the chicken and it was exiped. So the following day on the 24th of june 2021 I took the meat back and I told the manager that I got sick from tasting the meat I literally had a running stomach the whole night. He said oh sorry and he gave me a refund only. The fact that I got sick it doesn't bother him
