Sold expired cookies for children & rude manager response - Glen Acres Superspar

I purchased Smartie/chocolate chip cookies from Glen Acres Superspar for my 3-year-old son. After he had some, I tasted one myself and checked the pack - the expiry date was 2025, meaning the product was expired.

I returned to the store to raise the issue. The manager was rude and immediately asked “do you want your money back or another pack?” instead of addressing the problem. We then checked the other packs they had on the shelf, and they were all expired too.

Selling expired food is a serious health and safety issue, especially when it’s marketed to children. The customer service response was dismissive and didn’t take the problem seriously. I’ve attached a photo showing the condition of the cookies when I opened them.
