Long time to pay out provident fund.

I think it is absolutely shocking how long they take to pay out people's provident fund. I simply can not believe in the 21st century , when everything is done digitally , that this takes 6 to 8 weeks. They give you no solid good reasons as to why it takes so long and you have no option except to shut up and accept it as there is no arbitration body to complain to. I suspect that what happens is the law allows for this period of time, so they use this time to reinvest our money in something else and then pocket the interest. I did some research and the industry standard appears to be 21 working days. Glassock offers no real explanation as to why they take so long.
