You're only good when you have money

I was recently involved in a smash and grab. I called my insurance who then referred me to Glasfit (Bryanston) to get my window fixed. I get there, they fix my window and then tell me to pay R850 - which I was unaware was due at the time. So I said to them (in good faith) that I didn't have this money on me - I will pay them when I get paid. They made a joke saying they'll keep my car as collateral and I must use Uber in the interim.

I was shook. I called my mother to do an EFT for the R850 straight into their account. In her attempts, she got a failed message. She then asked her friend to do so and it work. I then proceeded to leave as this was now paid. At 18:15, my mother got a message that the payment had been processed... Keep in mind this happened on Tuesday - 11/07/2017.

The next day, my mom called for a refund of the R850 that was processed after an initial R850 was paid. She was given the run around saying this could only be done the following Tuesday. She refused, as they were quick to take their money and treat me like a ******** (they refused to give me my keys until paid). Now it's Monday, she called in the morning wanting to speak to the manager. To no avail, she was asked to leave her number. With 2 hours left before they're closed for business for the day, no one has gotten back to her.

Absolutely disgruntled with their poor service and client interaction. Let's see if the manager will get back to this one???

Good Day
First of all please accept our deepest apologies on behalf of Glasfit for the unprofessional manner in which this matter was handled. I would definitely need to take this up with our Bryanston branch manager.
I just need a bit info, please forward me the registration number of the vehicle or a reference number so that i can give the exact details in order for the manager to contact you.
Thank you
