Wrong safety glass delivered by GlasFit Still Bay.

Some time ago I asked for a quotation for delivery of 6 aluminum bathroom windows by Glass Fit Still Bay with double thick safety film inside the glass for making breaking the glass much more difficult for burglars. The quotation did not specify the double thick safety film inside the glass. I added the double thick safety film again in the quotation signed it and emailed to GlasFit as an order and also paid a deposit. The owner of the Still Bay branch told me this was not a problem and let me know the glass would a little bit thicker as the single thick inside film. I told him that after three we would go on holiday. This was not a problem to make the windows and install these in time. The building contractor was ready in time with enough time to install the 6 windows and to complete the work. A couple of days before installation Glass Fit let me know that the double film safety glass was not available. All 6 old windows were already removed and I had no other option than let GlassFit to install the new windows It deprived me of the possibility of ordering the windows elsewhere. I emailed him to see me within a week to discuss the problem and come with solutions. Of course he never showed up or contacted me. During installation I saw him once but he was away before I could go outside to ask him if he had already had a solution. After a week I complained to GlassFit head office but this email was also not answered. When GlassFit Stilbaai completed the installation the local branch principal never showed up to control with me the work done. Besides the known safety glass problem the work was left without cleaning the glass or removing the plastic protection covers as well as inside as outside. On every glass was written with a fiber pen my name and the window sizes. The windows were on the second floor so impossible for me as an elderly person to clean them. I have not paid the balance and I plan to use the balance to have an extra safety layer on the inside of the glass or install transparent polycarbonate burgle bars.
