We apologise for any inconvenience you've experienced at our fitment centre.
As a matter of clarity we perform VIC's for various companies and there are various mediums this is performed in, either electronic, insurance supp**** books or our own pre-printed books.
Each one of these insurers have specific rules regarding the completion of a inspection certificate.
The rules as per your insurer states that the client receives both copies, one to send to the insurer, and one for his own record and safekeeping. We keep a third copy as proof that we completed an inspection for our own records.
This fitment centre performs approximately 100 inspections per day. With a total exceeding 10000 inspections since April last year. This is why it is important for each client to be personally responsible for safeguarding their inspection certificate.
Without the numeric VIC number, or an exact date the inspection took place on the search for a single inspection would take days to look through, as a best case, approximately 2200 inspections.
If you could assist us with the required additional info to narrow the search the fitment centre would gladly assist.
