Passing the Buck

I went to have my car checked with glassfit in cresta for insurance purposes. I was told to fill out the form. The other clients appeared to have their details documented by mobile phone app. On completion of the form, the woman from glassfit handed me the form and said I NEEDED to scan it to Momentum.

I have since find out that my employee who went to glassfit too for the same reasons did not have to scan and send info. The other clients at in the store, did not have to scan and send the info..

Clearly the staff member from Glasfit did not want to or was unable to scan and hence it became my responsibility. I have scanned + sent it but Momentum still have no records. Now it has become a problem I need to handle which has not happened in the past.

Hello claire protheroe,

Thank you for your input regarding the inspection process. We constantly strive to improve our efficiencies and value your contribution. We would be remiss to point out that each insurer has different rules as to how inspections are handled, some insist they are done electronically, some insist that proof of inspection come directly from us, and others like your insurer specify that the client needs to forward proof of inspection as the service offered is done free of charge to both the insurer and their client. We will be happy to bring your concerns to the attention of the insurer, in attempt to consider improvements in the inspection space.
We however understand that a poor impression may have been given with regards to the way information was passed on to you and sincerely apologise for this.
