Glasfit stay away damages to my car

Glasfit Rustenburg: I took my hyundai I20 in for a windscreen replacment, no inspection sheet was offered to me to sign, i informed the staff that my driver side handle was a bit loose but fully opperational, upon my return i find my handle completely broken, i informed the manager and he said they will fix it, they tried for almost 2 hours to glue it and fix it, I asked for a copy of my job card and inspection sheet and they wanted me to sign it first, I refused as they damaged my vechile and now want me to sign it... i raised the matter with their customer service whom informed me that i refused to sign the inspection sheet?? I cant sign it if the car hasern damaged, needless to say there is no proffesionalism in the windscreen installation... a small fix is going to cost me a arm and a leg

Good Day Mr Slatter

Thank you kindly for alerting us to the above mentioned matter. However our customer service department did investigate the issue and concluded that the on the Pre & Post inspection it was noted that there were already pre existing damages to the vehicle which included the door handle.  This document is there to ensure that the technicians working on the vehicle leave the vehicle in the exact same condition as when it arrived at one of our branches.
It is unfortunate that you had to come across such an experience, however the branch did follow protocol with regards to this issue.

Thank you

CSI Department
