EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE AND COMMUNICATION
What bad service!!!! I went to Glasfit Ontedekkers, Roodepoort. The lady helping hardly communicated with me. Asked for my phone to see the sms from Insurance company and then just proceeded to use my phone. Did not tell me that is how Glasfit do their inspections. She just went onto whatsapp and started typing without talking to me and then started taking pictures with my phone. I find this absolutely unprofessional. I had many glass inspections done at different companies before as I worked in the motor trade. NEVER EVER did any company use my cell phone to do their inspection. The lady at the Ontdekkers Glasfit has no idea of communication neither of customer service. She should not deal with the public at all. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!
Hope you are well, thank you kindly for alerting us to this service failure. Please do note that we have a system in place called Self Inspect. This was developed with the mindset of minimising risk of contact or infection for both client and staff from Covid 19 pandemic. How it works is that the inspector would request your details, then the vehicle details. Loaded on their PC and create an inspection which will then generate a unique code. This unique code will be sent out to your cell number along with a link via watsapp. Then clients will click on link of which it will prompt a series of questions that the clients needs to follow and also take photos of the vehicle. Once this is done you click save and the report gets automatically sent to insurance and is also on our records. The tech has failed in adhering to this protocol and procedure. The process should have been explained thoroughly. Unfortunately in this case this was not done. I have alerted management from branch as well as our Franchise manager with regards to this matter.
Sincerest apologies for the service rendered.
Thank you
