Beware of Glasfit Benoni

I made claim via my insurance for the glass on my sliding door shattering. My insurer fast tracked the claim because it is an emergency for safety reasons. They awarded my claim to Glasfit Benoni. I gave my address to Princess Mtombeni at Glasfit Benoni and her technicians went to my brothers house (3 properties are on 1 policy) instead of mine. Then the technicians apologised and said they would proceed to my house. 3 hours later on Friday afternoon, I contacted Princess to ask her how far are the technicians because it was getting dark. She didn’t respond to messages and when I got a hold of her over the phone she told me I live too far and then proceeded to hang up on me. She did not explain this to my insurer or myself until I called, which meant that if I hadn’t called my claim would not have been processed until Monday. After my call, I received a call from another Glasfit closer to me. But they could not help me in at least 4 days (highly appreciated honesty) . So they called my insurer and told me it’s best to find another service provider. Because of their prompt response PG glass installed the glass on Sunday just as the storm was about to begin.
