On Monday 4th April 2016, my car was broken into and one of my windows therefore broken. And on Tuesday the 5th, I proceeded to the above mentioned supplier to get a quote and was supp**** with. I then contacted my insurance, which agreed to cover the costs. My insurance then advised me to let the supplier know that they have agreed and for the supplier to load a claim on the system. We then had a misunderstanding with Elsaby(Glasfit) about the procedure to a claim. I then gave her contacts to my broker, Virginia Mokhele, who then discussed in detail with the suppliers. Virginia advised that authorization has been given to repair the window. I called the supplier to confirm this and they did. They also advised that it would take between 24 & 48 hours to get the order placed and delivered. They will advise as soon as the part arrives. It is, however, unfortunate that I still haven't received a call to come get the window repaired. My concern is the safety of my vehicle and belongings as I am travelling with a windowless car. And this has left me as a concerned consumer. I received a *** on Friday the 8th after I gave them(Glasfit) a call.
