Terrible customer service from Glampalm

I purchased a Glampalm flat iron less than a year ago and I was very happy with the product. However when I had a problem with the product and tried to have it assessed or replaced I received extremely disappointing service from Glampalm. The outer covering section of my iron crumbled on the top edge and left a gap where my hair keeps getting stuck and broken off (didn't fall or get exposed to water or anything and I am sure of this as I am the only person who uses it) contacted Glampalm, sent pictures of the damage and was told that the outer covering is made from materials which would only be damaged by very hard impact, after assuring them many times that it was not caused by any kind of impact they refused to even take the iron back for an assessment. After hearing this I sent e-mails expressing my dissatisfaction with the response and since have not heard anything back from GlamPalm team
