HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE!

Booked an appointment with Vanessa to do my hair extensions a few days in advance and told her I needed a medium ash blonde colour. Vanessa made the appointment and I arrived on the Saturday at 1pm thinking all was on track and in order.

Whilst I sat waiting for her to finish with her client I couldn't help but notice how horrific this particular client's extensions looked. It literally looked like a mullet and this poor girl looked so upset. I started to worry and think that my hair would look just as bad. Once Vanessa was finished with this client she called me to go look at the hair she had in stock for my extensions. She showed me about 4 sets, none of which were even remotely what I had asked for, and one of the sets had so few strands in it I actually thought she was being funny. I asked her if she doesn't have others and she said No, that was all that was available. I pointed out that I had made the appointment in advance and had stipulated what shade hair I needed. Well, I almost fell on my back at Vanessa's reaction. She threw her hands up in the air, rolled her eyes at me and snapped "ja well!!!". I almost couldn't believe that she could speak to a client like that. I was so shocked and taken aback that I was actually trembling when I got to my car.

I am a single mom and made special arrangements for a babysitter for that day so the option of just going to another salon on another day was not an easy option for me. Still so upset by what had transpired, I decided to write the owner of the salon an email explaining what had happened and I have still not received a reply! Speaks volumes !

I am so grateful for Vanessa and her boss's lack of professionalism because I ended up going to an ex stylist from Diva Divine and had the most beautiful extensions put in my hair. I am so thrilled. I will also mention that the quality of Diva Divine hair completely overrides the quality of the hair at Glamorhair which feels synthetic. As they say... goedkoop is duurkoop. Rather pay a bit extra and walk out feeling like a goddess rather than skimping on a few rands and leaving dissatisfied.

Think twice before going to this place for hair extensions.
