Formal Complaint Regarding Glam Pro Nail Technician Training I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my experience with Glam Pro and the nail technician training course I completed with them. My primary concern is the structure, pace, quality, and value of the training I received in relation to the substantial amount I paid for the course. The course compresses a significant amount of training into a two-day period. In my experience, the delivery was extremely rapid, with a large amount of information and practical instruction being presented in a very short period. I felt that I was being pushed through the material faster than I could realistically absorb, practise, and properly develop the skills being taught. Although I recognise that responsibility for continued practice ultimately rests with the student, I enrolled in professional training with the reasonable expectation that I would leave with a sufficiently strong practical foundation to continue developing my skills and pursue work as a nail technician. Unfortunately, that is not how I felt when I completed the course. Since completing the training, I have not been able to pass the examination, and I have also not been able to secure a single position or gig as a nail technician. More importantly, I did not feel that the training had adequately prepared me either to demonstrate the required competency or to confidently enter the industry. I also want to make clear that my concerns are not primarily about the quality of Glam Pro's products. The products themselves were not the main issue for me. My concern is the training and the level of preparation that I received alongside those products. The course was also very expensive, and I do not feel that I received reasonable value for the amount of money I invested. I paid for professional training because I expected a professional level of instruction and preparation. Instead, I left feeling that too much material had been compressed into too little time and that I had not been given a sufficient opportunity to properly absorb, practise, and consolidate the skills required. I am therefore dissatisfied with: - The extremely compressed two-day course structure. - The rapid pace at which the material was delivered. - The amount of information presented within such a limited period. - The level of practical preparation I received. - The extent to which the training prepared me for the assessment. - The extent to which the training prepared me to enter the nail technician profession. - The overall level of service and support I experienced. - Most importantly, the value for money in relation to the substantial cost of the course. I appreciate that completion of a course does not automatically guarantee employment or examination success. My complaint is not that Glam Pro was obligated to guarantee me a job. Rather, my concern is that, having paid a substantial fee for professional training, I did not feel adequately equipped by the training to take the next step toward becoming a competent working nail technician. I would therefore like Glam Pro to provide a clear response to this complaint, including an explanation of what level of competency and preparation the course is intended to provide, what support is available to students who do not pass the assessment, and what remedies or additional training are available to a student who feels that the two-day course did not adequately prepare them. I would also appreciate clarification regarding the accreditation, recognition, and status of the particular course I completed, including which body, if any, oversees or accredits the training and assessment. I am raising this complaint because I believe prospective students should be able to make an informed decision when spending a substantial amount of money on professional training. My experience has left me feeling that the training did not provide the level of preparation or value that I reasonably expected when I enrolled.
