Request a living annuity payout.

In am a retired female aged 66 years old. I retired in December 2018, that was the policy of the company that I worked for. I worked for that company for seven years only. Upon my retirement the broker that I dealt with recommended Glacier by Sanlam, therefore whatever that I received, I had to invest it in order to get a Living annuity. I fid that and have been getting a monthly annuity on a monthly basis, this annuity decreases every year on the anniversary date, mine is February. Thier other policy is that one can only take the full amount if the balance of the remaining funds is R125000.00 or below, mine is currently standing @ R155387.30. The difference is only R30387.30. Ever since my retirement. I couldn't afford a medical aid therefore would go to the government clinic if needed. Since 2020 I have a medical condition called Exizima. This condition is worsening. I have it on my left arm and left leg upto the knee. It is painful and itchy and it keeps on growing. I have been treating it with either Epimax buying it or Emulsifying ointment which I get from the government clinic. Upto today nothing has changed and the pain is excruciating and getting worse. Currently I rely on the Sassa grant therefore I am unable to go to private doctors or hospitals. Based on the above I then asked Sanlam Glacier if I could at least get something from my current living annuity. I gave them all my reasons as to why I needed part of my pension. I am left handed and the arm and hand that are affected and painful are the ones that I need treatment for. There is not much left between what I currently have and the R125000.00 that they say is what my annuity should be at in order to get my full Living annuity. I am single and don't have children, never had them so what is the issue, it's not like I have anyone relying on me, except for my mortgage etc. If I die not much will be lost. I am really disturbed and in pain, I can't use my left hand and yet I could get proper medical attention. I send them the pictures of my hand and the leg that is affected its really terrible and painful. Can Treasury and Glacier please reconsider.
