Don's trust building contractor GL Holdings (Michael Lester)

Michael Lester the director/owner of GL Holdings, a construction business based in Pretoria, was appointed to do renovations on my family home in Johannesburg.

During the course of the project I continually shared my frustrations as a result of the countless delays, false promises and reduced teams. After failing to meet the deadline at the end of November 2019, Michael Lester committed to return to complete the unfinished work in January 2020 which failed to occur, once again without any communication leaving my home in an absolute mess.

Despite the agreed payment schedule, I agreed to exceed the payments required based on his pleas for assistance, and guarantees that the work would be completed shortly.

Subsequent to the committed return in January 2020, I have made several attempts to get clarity as to when this work would be completed with any success, or response.

As Michael Lester has refused contact and not responded to my communications, I can only conclude, by his silence and not meeting his commitments, that he has abandoned the unfinished project therefore breaching our contract.

Now I have had to take legal steps in order to make Michael Lester accountable.
