Vehicle Sales From Hell

<p>DO NOT BUY VEHICLES FROM GIJIMA MOTORS IN BOKSBURG. We purchased a Nissan Murano from Gijima Motors (573 Trichards Rd, Boksburg) for R 90 000.00. A bit overpriced but we figured that the radio was replaced with a "newer" model. Little did we know the problems with this vehicle. The first three months after the purchase the vehicle was not even in our possession due to repairs that was being done (minor things) the aircon blower, the hooter etc. We received the vehicle and within the first day the steering wheel started with problems. A week later the steering wheel had made a 120 degree turn, we then proceeded to have the alignment done and was advised that some part in the steering colunm was stripped causing the steering wheel to turn like that. The vehicle went back for more repairs after that and some of the initial repairs that was never done. The car shook when applying brakes it had a humming noise and we were told by Gijima Motors that it was road noise on the tyres. The brake discs were skimmed but did not make a huge difference. We bought the vehicle in April 2016 and it was only registered on our name August 2016 after requesting our money back three times. We were being harrassed by the previous owner of the vehicle stating that he was not yet paid in full for the vehicle and that we are driving a ****** vehicle. Once again after the vehicle came back from repairs the hooter again didn't work. We decided to have the vehicle checked out by decent honest people. It turned out Gijima Motors stuck little pieces of paper over the sensors on the vehicle to make the problems dissappear. The ABS were faulty the airbags were disconnected the brakes were not applying properly. After all the diagnostic test were done we went back to the owner of Gijima Motors Johan (still within the 6 months warranty period) and he advised us that the salesman Jan who sold us the vehicle was responsible for this and he left he refused point blank to do any of the repairs on this vehicle that was still under warranty. It has cost more that R 10 000.00 and the vehicle is still not completely fixed.</p>
