<p>I was in the market for a second hand double cab, found what I thought was the right vehicle. I went to view the vehicle at G.I.G Motors Edenvale, the sales guy JJ said the van was at the work shop getting a new clutch kit fitted, so I asked him to call me soon as its back. The next day JJ called, so I went to test drive, fuel light on, so went for a short drive, all seemed ok, so I bought the van. Drove the van that night and noticed a noise from the gearbox when hot, I went to G.I.G the next day to let them know, they sent the mechanic to fetch the van, after a week of me calling and going to the dealership to find out what was going on, they finally decided to pull the gearbox out and sent it in to a gearbox specilist, another week of me following up, eventually box is back and reinstalled. Take the van for a drive, and the same noise is there. I spoke to one of the partners about the matter, told him I wasn't happy and would like a refund, he said I can't cancel the deal as he has fixed what I asked and I am welcome to take it for a second opion at my cost.</p> <p>To add fuel to the now ragging fire, two things I only noticed later, the ad for the vehicle said new tyres, which were only about 50% and the radio volume doesn't work properly. There is also a very bad clutch shudder even after a new clutch was done. Further more I can't see how the vehicle passed a road worthy test as one number plate light doesn't work and both rear tail light lenses are cracked.</p> <p>The cherry on the cake, after paying the on road fee of R2000, I have been waiting nearly one month for the papers for the van, just one excuse after the next with no papers in sight!!</p>
