Stole Original Motherboard of iPhone

So we took in an iPhone for repair. Initially it just wasn't catching network. Wifi and all other functions were normal.

They then did a diagnostic test and said it needed a new battery. Which we then purchased. Problem persisted.

It was then given a 'sonic bath'. The problem persisted. After allowing numerous attempts over a two week span to repair the phone, the phone was still not catching network and now rebooting and the camera stopped working.

We gave them another chance to rectify the situation. At this point the phone no longer turned on and they issued us with a BER certificate. We demanded a refund for the battery and received the run-around by the manager of the store.

After we eventually got the money and the phone back, it was still not working.

We went for a second opinion and we were notified that the Motherboard has been changed and the IMEI number no longer matches that of the number on the back of the phone.

This is unacceptable as there was no communication about a motherboard swap out or any information regarding the motherboard, besides the sonic bath.

This is theft!
