Not "ease of mind"

We bought a caravan and sent it to Gibbon's to ensure "ease of mind" when we would tow it down to the coast. After the caravan passed a test of reliance,as per law, the ease of mind was done to replace wheel bearings ,oil seals and a checkup. 2 Weeks later, we were off to the south coast only to find the caravan is very heavy to pull (Sprite Sprint, with a 2.8 ,4*4 VX Fortuner... Mmmm). When we arrived we found black smoke and markings on the white wheel rims. We were Fortunate enough to tun into another excellent company at the coast who stripped the wheels and found the following... 1. The wheel bearings was thightend to much, that led to heat burn. 2. The break pads was released from the brake shoes, because no /wrong adjustments to the brake springs. When we confronted the owner,Sandy, we were accused with towing the caravan with the hand break on (after camping for 21 years, my dad being a significant expert on mechanisms and plain logic) it felt insulting. The mechanic's of the company at the coast also talked to the Gibbon's engineer and threw accusations. With each excuse given ,my dad, with expert knowledge, answered each accusation with an answer of another symptom that would be evident if this was the case, now I'm stressing about their integrity as well... The excuses and all comments in the world would not explain the caravan currently on it's stand, with no wheels... We have to head back to Gauteng, under pressure due to time constraints... We have to wait for new brake shoes and wheel bearings... Please do not consider Gibbon's for "ease of mind". Also the way we were handled,with accusations was insulting. Please do not underestimate the knowledge of the public... This is just one person's oppion
