Product has a known flaw and GHD refuses to do anything about it
I purchased a GHD Platinum Hair Straightener, similar to most other customers who purchased the platinum hair iron, it started to flash a red light, beep, and not heat up. I called GHD customer care who told me they aware this is an issue with these models, especially the older ones, but there is nothing they can do because I purchased it more than 2 years ago (a little over 2 years). I paid $240 for this iron, and I only used it when I traveled for work. I am so upset that such a large reputable company would not stand by their products. I guess it's my fault for buying this iron at the wrong time!
