Platinum GHD can't repair

I bought a GHD Platinum straightener in 2016 it worked for just over two years and then one day it just decided to flash red with beeping noises and not heat up. I contacted GHD for them to repair it and they don't have any spares available to repair it with..... This is just ridiculous!! How can you put some thing on the market and not provide spares to fix it. I paid over R3000.00 for the "best" straighter. What a joke!!!! Don't provide spares for the top of the range product.....How does that work???
