GHD straightner - would not recommend

I bought a ghd 4 years back , I have only used it a few times but it is faulty . I am a stay at home mom so I only use it for special days or weekends . It still looks brand new , but it is making faulty noises . I contacted GHD , they could not help me because the straightner only has 2 year warranty. All my friends have GHD and recommended it to me because it never breaks but my GHD gold range ( R3900) is broken only after a few uses .

I would not recommend this straightner . I went online to google this sou d and came across alot of videos where people are complaining about this faulty sound GHD does but they replace it , only if it’s under warranty.
