GHD South Africa ********** service and products

I bought my GHD max styler OCT 2019, I had it for a year and suddenly the styler didn’t want to switch on, I contacted GHD they collected the styler and confirmed that the GHD styler was faulty due to a manufacturing issue, a new replacement was send back to me now I have the same issue with this one, it does not want to switch on which I now assume its the same issue as the one I purchased originally. (Bare in mind my styler doesn’t even have a scratch on, the wire is not even bend and I haven’t even dropped my styler once), I contacted them again after days they only responded to my request, and after another 3 days of back and forth communication they confirmed that the warranty is not valid and they will offer me a 20% discount on a new styler from their website but only on the full price and not on any sale products. I am so frustrated to realise that I wasted so much many on this product. My advise to anyone who wants to purchase a GHD product don’t even think about it, walk past or scroll past you will not get your money’s worth as these products sold by GHD is inferior and not what they advertise, you will waste your money and if you purchase a GHD prepare yourself to spend your savings every 2 years on a new straightner. I will not recommend buying this product to anyone and advise them to rather buy a cheap straightner as you will have less hassles in either returning it or it wouldn’t even hurt that much in throwing a R400 straightner in the bin instead of a R3500 straightner in the bin. I am disgusted by this service and can guarantee that their competition will be doing much better in the next year due to their absolute ********** customer service and their bad quality of products.
